RACHMANINOFF

Sergei Vasilievich Rachmaninoff was born on April 1, 1873 in Semyonovo, Russia and died on March 28 1943.

The first part makes me feel angry, and it kind of sounds like a march, because it is very staccato, and the second part makes me feel sad and it is very legato. I think if there were words to this song, they would be expressing anger and sadness.

Prelude in G minor is the name of the song. Prelude means introduction, or something that introduces something else, therefor the must be another piece that comes after Prelude in G minor.

I enjoyed listening to this piece.

Rachmaninoff’s piece Prelude in E-Flat is very repetitive and is a mixture of happiness and sadness.

Story: The very start of summer vacation when the kids are just getting out of school and getting of the bus at your house to find your mom looking unhappily at you and it turns out you got a bad report card, but then since you just got out of school, she buys you an ice cream and everything turns out to be fine.
