Ludwig van Beethoven was born in Bonn, Germany. There is no authentic record of when he was born, but he was baptized December 17 1770 and most believe he was born December 16, and he died March 26, 1827. His piece, Fur Elise is very repetitive and kind of sad. That is what it makes me feel. I suspect that Fur Elise is played in a minor key. Beethoven would have been in the classical period. Fur Elise is a classical piece. Fur Eise means ‘for Elise’.
