Robert Alexander Schumann was born on June 8, 1810 and died July 29, 1856. His piece Traumerei/Reverie makes me feel gleeful like riding a rainbow that goes on forever and ever and ever, or like I was a pretty white fish that was swimming deep in the ocean, it’s tail brilliant and sparkly, swaying from side to side like a tree in a summer breeze.

He lived in the romantic period.

(P.S. my fish died on Sunday and she was really a lot like the fish I described.)

Reverie means dream (I know from past experiences) and I thought it sounded like a lullaby.
